The purpose of our website is to be a source of information for the community related to the services we provide. We have also provided many of our public records for your convenience.
West Lakeland Water Control District (“District”) is located in Polk County, Florida, south of Old Tampa Highway, east and north of the center line of Drane Field Road, west of Seaboard Coastline Railroad right-of-way, containing approximately 3,842.45 acres. The District serves for the purpose of making improvements necessary to execute a water control plan; preserving all drains and other systems constructed; operating and maintaining equipment, canals, drainage systems, and other works of the District, including the removal of obstructions from the same; and any other duties directed by the Board of Supervisors.
